What is a Lowest Rate Guarantee?

In the event that you are able to find a lower rate than what Team Travel Source has offered, TTS does offer a Lowest Rate Guarantee. This must be an identical (apples to apples) comparison. Please note the lowest rate guarantee is only applicable until the contracted cut off date (approximately one month prior to the event). Once the rooms are released and turned back over to the hotel, they are able to sell remaining inventory at lower (or higher) rates that are not covered by our guarantee. Please note, the rates appearing directly on the hotel's webpages are controlled by the hotel. If a lower rate is found and confirmed, TTS will advocate on your behalf and work with the property to find a solution.

The following factors must be taken into consideration:

•  The quoted rate is for a participating partner hotel that is listed on the TTS website. 

• The rate must be for the same dates that TTS has contracted with the hotel.

• The cancellation policy must be the same. If you find a 'non-refundable' or 'pay now' rate, this will not qualify.

• The rate must be for the same room type, example: two double beds, one king suite, etc, and the room type must be guaranteed.

• Are the amenities the same? The rate that TTS has contracted may include free breakfast, a waived resort fee, free parking, etc. that may not be covered by the rate you have found.

• The hotel's rate may vary by occupancy, while a majority of our rates are flat rates for up to max occupancy of a given room type. Most hotels show a rate that covers the maximum occupancy for a room (example 4 adults for a double room), while others may show a rate that is based on two adults (regardless of room type). In this second case hotels may charge an additional fee for an additional 3rd or 4th adult. 
   

The following types of rates are not eligible for the Lowest Rate Guarantee:

• Rates found on sites such as Expedia, Travelocity, Hotels.com, Priceline, etc. Occasionally these sites may run flash sales on one or two rooms in order to move final inventory. However these flash rates will not be available for groups or larger numbers of rooms. In the event that you do find that you can book 9+ rooms on one of these sites with a lower rate that does take into consideration all of the factors on the left, please do let us know and we will be happy to look into this for you.

• Memberships Rates such as AAA and AARP, etc. 

• Hotel membership rates

• Corporate negotiated rates

• Government Rates

• Hotel Employee/Friends and Family Rates

• Any Pre-Paid/Non-Refundable Rates
